Mitsubishi Electric has been a global leader in HVAC innovation for decades, pioneering the ductless mini-split and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technologies that are now the gold standard for efficient, flexible home comfort. Their systems are engineered for reliability, built to last, and backed by one of the strongest warranties in the industry
The MLZ EZ FIT® is one of Mitsubishi’s most popular indoor units for homeowners who want a truly hidden comfort solution. Designed to fit between standard 16″ ceiling joists with a depth of only 7.5″, it recesses flush with the ceiling and blends in seamlessly with existing décor. High/low ceiling airflow settings and automatic vane control personalize comfort delivery, and it’s compatible with both single-zone and multi-zone outdoor units. A top choice for room upgrades and new construction alike.
The SLZ mounts flush into a standard 2′ × 2′ suspended ceiling grid, making it an ideal fit for homes and light commercial spaces with drop ceilings. Four multi-directional vanes can be configured to provide 72 unique airflow patterns, ensuring thorough, even coverage of the entire space. Quiet, efficient, and nearly invisible once installed.
The PLA is the larger-format ceiling cassette from Mitsubishi’s P-Series commercial line, designed to install into a 3′ × 3′ suspended ceiling grid. It delivers advanced four-way airflow with customizable vanes and smart controls — making it well-suited for commercial spaces, larger living areas, open floor plans, and any application that requires broader air distribution than the 2′ × 2′ SLZ can provide.
The PCA hangs from the ceiling in open spaces and delivers long-reach airflow distribution — making it ideal for larger areas that ceiling-recessed cassettes can’t adequately cover. Perfect for retail stores, commercial kitchens, classrooms, restaurants, and open-plan offices. It keeps walls and floors completely free while providing powerful, directional comfort across wide footprints.
