Mitsubishi Electric has been a global leader in HVAC innovation for decades, pioneering the ductless mini-split and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technologies that are now the gold standard for efficient, flexible home comfort. Their systems are engineered for reliability, built to last, and backed by one of the strongest warranties in the industry
The SVZ is Mitsubishi’s compact, whisper-quiet multi-position air handler designed as a direct replacement for conventional forced-air furnace systems. It installs in horizontal or vertical configurations, making it adaptable to attics, closets, garages, and hallways. Built with a corrosion-resistant black ZAM finish and featuring a built-in humidifier input, the SVZ is available from 9,000 to 36,000 BTU/H and compatible with both single-zone and multi-zone outdoor units. An ideal all-electric upgrade for homes that already have ductwork in place
The PVA is the high-capacity counterpart to the SVZ, available from 12,000 to 60,000 BTU/H and designed for larger homes, multi-family buildings, and light commercial applications. Like the SVZ, it features a durable black ZAM finish, built-in humidifier input, and support for horizontal, upflow, and downflow configurations. It also includes a built-in refrigerant leak sensor and integrates with existing backup heating systems, making it a strong choice for dual-fuel or retrofit installs.
The SEZ is a low-profile, horizontal-ducted indoor unit ideal for conditioning one or two rooms through a short duct run. Available as single-zone or multi-zone, it can be installed in an attic, concealed in a ceiling or floor cavity, or hidden behind a bulkhead — making it a great option for room additions and homes without existing central ductwork. Quiet, efficient, and completely out of sight once installed.
The PEAD is a compact, mid-static horizontal-ducted unit designed for both residential and light commercial applications. Its slim 9-7/8″ height fits in low-ceiling spaces with minimal clearance, and the external static pressure can be adjusted across five settings to accommodate a wide range of building types. A built-in drain lift mechanism handles condensate removal, even in tight installation scenarios. An excellent solution for offices, retail, daycares, and restaurants alongside larger homes.
